Japan Tour

  • Day 1 Tokyo arrival
    Welcome to TSB Japan Tour! Transfer by coach to hotel. Later in the day, we will pay a visit to Shinjuku district (famous for night life) on the metro , giving you an insight into Japan transport technology. Dinner included and return to hotel by metro with tour guide. 


  • Day 2 Tokyo
    After breakfast we proceed for local sightseeing, with a brief stop at the Zojoji Temple,Tokyo Tower. We find Jizos, stone traditional protecting deities. We also visit most crowded junction of Shibuya, followed by the Meiji Temple that is dedicated to the Emperor Meiji, his consort, and their spirits. Imperial Palace and the gardens and its famous Nijubashi Bridge . We will pass through the district of Akihabara, with icons from the popular Japanese Manga and Anime culture and then see Kokugikan - the Sumo stadium. Sensoji, the oldest and most important temple in Tokyo. Shopping at street of Nakamise in the district of Asakusa and travelling through street of Omotesand. Overnight : Tokyo (Optional Kamakura is like Kyoto via Kawasaki and Yokohama) 


  • Day 3 Tokyo - Mount Fuji - Kawaguchiko
    After breakfast we travel via Arakurayama Sengen Park to Mount Fuji. Post lunch we start to ascend Mount Fuji via 5th station surrounded by spectacular forests and breath taking views. In winter, the route up to Mount Fuji is closed due to snow so we will ascend as far as the authorised point . Fuji Sengen Shrine set in a magical site amidst tall trees - the starting point of the traditional pilgrimage to the mountain. Later we visit Kawaguchiko with its tiny houses, flowers and mountains, and its beautiful lake and . We take a boat trip on Kawaguchiko Lake.
     
  • Theme : We will stay at a traditional Japanese hotel with accommodation on tatamis and have the chance to enjoy its Onsen (public baths). Overnight Kawaguchiko
     
  • Day 4 Kawaguchiko - Iyasi no Sato Nenba - Toyota - Kyoto
    We continue our journey through the lakes of Iyasi no Sato Nenba, captivated by the cascading Shiraito Falls, cascading from great heights . Later proceed to Nagoya, on the shores of the Pacific and a visit to Toyota Museum . Later proceed to Kyoto . Overnight Kyoto.

 

  • Day 5 Kyoto
    We head for the outskirts of Kyoto to Arashiyama, where we cross the Togetsukyo Bridge ,which has fantastic views. We will visit the Tenryuji temple, one of the five major Zen temples of Kyoto & a UNESCO World Heritage Site, followed by a walk through its mystic bamboo forest. We also visit the marvellous Shinto Shrine of Fushimi Inari, the Imperial Palace and Kinkakuji temple -the golden pavilion & its wonderfully bestowed gardens. 
    Later visit Gion, a busy traditional quarter famous for its Geisha. Overnight Kyoto 

 

  • Day 6 Kyoto - Nara - Osaka
    We leave for Nara to visit Todaiji, a magnificent Buddhist temple , Horyuji Buddhist temple, a World Heritage Site and is the oldest Buddhist temple in Japan. Later we proceed to OSAKA, for an evening visit to Dotonbori, a colourful district filled with nightlife. Overnight Osaka


  • Day 7 Osaka - Engyo-ji - Himeji- Okayama
    We leave for Mount Shosa, and its Engyo-Ji complex of temples dating back more than 1,000 years, which was the place where the film “The last Samurai” was made. Cable car ride. After this we will see Himeji, where we will include entry to its immense complex that shows us the architecture of Japanese castles. Lunch included in a local restaurant. We go on to Okayama, where we will visit Korakuen, one of the most beautiful gardens in Japan, with its lakes, waterfalls and traditional teahouses.


 

  • Day 8. Okayama - Kurashiki - Hiroshima- Itsukushima - Hiroshima
    After visit to KURASHIKI, we continue on our way to HIROSHIMA, a city sadly known for the atomic bomb that fell on it in 1945 and which levelled the city. We will stroll around the Peace Memorial, the Dome of the bomb and we will visit the impressive Museum of Peace. After the war we will seek peace by embarking on a ferry to the island “where men and gods live together”, with the sanctuary of Itsukurshima dedicated to the guardian of the seas, built partially over the sea. Note: The order of the visits in Hiroshima may vary without affecting their content.
  • Day : 9
    Good bye Japan, Breakfast at the hotel, Check out and Transfer to Airport.

Welcome to Switzerland - The Alpine Wonderland! Upon arrival in Zurich, you will proceed to the Flughafen station for your train to Interlaken, which is located, in the heart of the Swiss Alps, situated between the Lakes of Thun and Brienz and is at the foot the famous trio of peaks, the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau.   • Day 2 Interlaken
    Today venture aboard an unforgettable Alpine tour by Swiss Rail to travel from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen to the majestic world of the Jungfraujoch (11,300ft) the top of Europe. Visit the Ice Palace, experience the breathtaking view from the Sphinx Observation overlooking the Aletsch Glacier (Europe’s longest glacier) and the snow-capped peaks of the neighboring countries.   • Day 5 Lucerne – Zurich (55Km/1Hr by train)
    Today you will travel by train from Lucerne to the Zurich check into your hotel and later visit Europe’s largest waterfall the Rhine Falls. You will also have the chance to take a boat right up to the falls (optional). Later enjoy some shopping in Zurich.

  • Day 7 Innsbruck – Padua- Venice (350 Km/7Hr)
    After breakfast we proceed to Padua Known as Padova in Italian, the oldest city in northern Italy, visit the 13th-century Basilica di Sant'Antonio and Scrovegni Chapel, with Giotto’s famed 14th century frescos. The magnificent Prato della Valle, a 9 Lakhs Sq.ft elliptical square, is Italy largest Square. Overnight at Padua.


  • Day 8 Venice
    The exquisite lagoon city of Venice captivates tourists with canals and palaces that are built on 117 small islands. Take a Cruise from Tronchetto Pier and manoeuvre through fairytale palaces, quaint canals to the St. Marks Square -Visit the bronze Moors striking the hour, as they have been doing for the past 500 years and Doge Palace. If time permits visit the Murano Glass Factory (if open) for a demonstration in glass blowing. Overnight in Padova /Venice

 

  • Day 9 Tuscany/ Florence (240Km /4hrs from Venice)
    After breakfast we proceed to Pisa, on arrival visit Square of Miracles, Baptistery, Cathedral and Leaning tower of Pisa. Arrive in Florence in the evening visit Duomo (if open) and 'Gate to Paradise' - the heavenly gilded bronze doors of the Baptistery, originally a pagan temple and the open-air gallery in Signoria Square. Stroll on the renowned Ponte Vecchio, the oldest bridge in the city. Overnight at Florence

 

  • Day 10 Florence - Rome (270Km/5Hrs)
    On arrival to Rome proceed to visit St. Peter's Basilica at Vatican , the world's largest Cathedral, which will amaze you with its size, beauty and splendor. Later, on your Guided city tour of Rome see Piazza Venezia, see the colossal Victor Emmanuel II Monument, Visit the gigantic Colosseum- the epitome of Rome, also visit the famous Trevi fountain.   • Day 11 Rome
